Getting Started

Step 1: Install and run the software

After installation, run the software. You can see the main interface as below.

Step 2: Add File

Click “Open” button or select “File> Open” on the main menu to load files.

Step 3: Select an attack type to recover rar password

There are four attack types in our program for you to recover your rar password. They are Brute-force Attack, Mask Attack, Dictionary Attack and Smart Attack.

Tips:

1. Brute-force Attack. This Attack will try all possible characters combinations in the specified Range.
2. Mask Attack. This Attack is useful when you remeber a part of Password.
3. Dictionary Attack. This Attack verifies the words stored in the specified Dictionary File.
4. Smart Attack. This Attack is the automatic attack. It will try all possible characters combinations include all priteable characters.

Step 4: Recover

After selected an attack type, click “Start” button to complete the task, then you will get your lost rar password.

Mask Attack

If you choose Mask Attack, you should offer some password symbols which you can remember. A Password Mask must be defined to use Mask Attack.

Dictionary Attack

If you choose Dictionary Attack, click "Dictionary" on the tabbar.

"Dictionary" Settings:

Simply select the desired dictionary file. In addition, you can select an option "Smart mutations" or "Try all possible upper/lower case combinations"

Auto Save

Automatically save the recovery state every 5 minutes by default so that you can resume the rar password recovery process after the former interruption or stop. And the auto-save time interval can be changed as you wish.

Save project every:

If it is enabled, while the program is processing, it will save the password recovery project every after a period of time. If you set it as 5 minutes, then the program will automatically save the process every 5 minutes. Select the check box "Save project every" to active it.
